For students not meeting the mastery level, they are able to remediate the topic of concern until mastery is achieved. Faculty maintain control of the students’ content, adjusting material as needed, based on curricular challenges and cohort needs. Additionally, Personalized Teaching Plans (PTPs) offer activities that are designed to actively engage students in classroom discussion, and double as remediation tools to strengthen students’ mastery of content.
