As students move through the Simulation, their choices affect patient outcomes and change the trajectory of the scenario. Simulations may take 30–60 minutes to complete, depending on how students answer each question. #2 Branching Logic
Each question is a decision point . Students may rewatch the video or review the EHR to help guide their decisions.
Just like in real life, decisions will impact how the Simulation progresses. Different choices will lead to different videos and different EHR updates .
Questions require students to have a strong foundational understanding, assess the individual patient’s needs and specifics, and exercise careful clinical judgment. Many questions will prompt students to make clinical decisions and know the proper techniques for any interventions .
